Minimum Reporting Limit Information

Q:
Main Menu → Setup → Data Entry/Inquiry → Analyses Tab
While documenting the Detection Limit is helpful, the Reporting Limit (MRL) is far more critical for our clients. It needs to appear on the final report so customers can easily determine whether their results are above or below the method reporting limit—and ideally, be flagged when results exceed it. Could you add a cell to capture and display this information?

A:
Minimum Reporting Limit: Your “Minimum Reporting Limit” translates to the existing “Warning Min:” field in analysis setup. Set a limit here to receive a warning when entering analysis results at or below the Warning Min threshold. The same will be true for “Warning Max:” in analysis setup. Results cannot be accepted if entered above/below the “Result Max” or “Result Min”.

When reporting results, a value below the Warning Min will have “-L” next to it on the report, indicating the irregularity. This is previewed in the “Report” column.
